Window Graphics

Window graphics provide interesting displays for product launches and special offers, you can also brand your company name and logo.

Things to bare in mind:-

  • visibility – is there anything blocking your line of vision
  • clear message + logo – you have seconds to attract passers-by with your displays… it has to count
  • use the impact of colour to attract attention whilst keeping the message simple and to the point
  • your design depends on the type of window dressing you require. For privacy use a one-way film with high impact graphics or a sandblast effect to highlight your company logo
Materials
Sandblasted vinyl – for privacy, will let light shine through
Non-adhesive – easy for visual merchandising
Window decal – low tac allowing for easy peel and stick, can be die-cut to a certain shape

How do I find a Graphic Designer

Using a design agency or shop will be more cost effective than advertising agency for a small business.

Printers will often have designers working for them which can be the most cost effective. However cheapness is not the best option if you fail to achieve your objectives because of poor quality of advice.

The best way of finding a designer whose advice you value is to ask friends and colleagues for recommendations. Another approach is to keep an eye open for work you admire that other businesses have, for example a logo you think looks good or an effective premises fitting.
